Welcome to Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department
The Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department was organized in 1960, after a referendum vote of the people of Franklin and Williamson counties in 1959. It began operation in 1961. The health department has two offices to better serve the two-county area. Bi-County Health is a certified local health department under the Illinois Administrative Code Section 600.400: Certified Local Health Department Code Public Health Practice Standards.
